Sailing pictures of the 'Swift':I had always felt that the Swift would be a good boat for sail-training and by chance my yacht club's training scheme was a boat short and so we had a chance to find out how many students we could cram in!The final count was seven adults and two young children; about 1/2 ton of crew, not bad for a 15-footer. This was a beginners class and later on for more one on one training a smaller number of trainees will be advisable. However, according to the instructor she was still lively and responsive. |
